Students on the Introductory Course and the Advanced Training are encouraged to ensure they have sufficient personal support during their participation in these courses, particularly during the time between modules. This can take the form of being in a peer group of fellow students that meets regularly, having private sessions with a practitioner of this work, being in a form of ongoing psychotherapy or counselling, where issues that surface can be reviewed, or going on open workshops run by Vivian or Maria and Lucy at the Centre.
Vivian runs several student study groups that meet eight times a year in Bristol and London. These are specifically for students on the Advanced Training who have attended a minimum of one year of that training, and involve professional supervision, theory discussion and supervised practise.
Vivian is available to senior students for individual supervision and support of their work.
